Students are required to wear their ID card everyday.

All students will be provided with one ID card. If a student loses/misplaces their ID card, they must pay a fee to receive a new ID card and lanyard. The student must pay cash/ATM or they will be charged on their student account.

ID cards must be visible over their clothes and not to be hidden underneath clothes at any time while on school campus (includes before and after school and any extracurricular school functions). The ID cards must be worn above the waist on the frontal side of the student.

If a student does not bring their ID card to school, they will be given the following discipline:

Student must purchase replacement ID card and lanyard. Administrator will contact parent and consequence will be determined at administrator’s discretion.

Students will be allowed to bring their own lanyards as long as they follow the dress code for Fontana High School. We will continue to provide students with “breakaway” lanyards for their safety and encourage students to bring lanyards that are safe.

Fontana High School will make Connect-Ed phone calls for those students who do not bring their ID cards.

Remember that students who have unpaid fees on their student account will not be allowed to attend prom, Homecoming, or other school sponsored events.
